Valslide Fatloss Tip

by Monica

Valerie Waters creator of the Valside (I happen to be giving away a pair of Valslides this month) suggests you find "Your One Thing" if you want to burn fat and get a killer body.

Check out her video to find out what Your One Thing is and if you feel like listing it below go ahead and type in your one thing for a chance to win a set of Valslides. BTW, my one thing is usually eating more starchy carbs than veggies or not doing enough hiit.

You can also enter the Valslide giveaway on the Workout Motivation Giveaway blog post.

Remember that giving up or doing that one thing will lead to the body you want. Just like the song suggests.

My one thing

My one thing that keeps me from getting the best results is portion control - I almost always eat more than I need.

The One thing
by: SRadford

Too many cheat meals. Some weeks, I crash and burn way too many times. Being in my 40's being in early menopause makes it ultra tough because everything I eat and do severely hinders my progress and the belly fat just won't budge.

My "One Thing"
by: Deb

Cheeze-Its at 3:00!! They should be outlawed or come three in a package. I love those little cheezey things. However, I have finally figured out that I can walk the dog at 3:00 and then do my workout! What a concept! The dog loves it and so do I when I'm finished working out!

My "One Thing"

Eeeks! I know my "one thing" is what I am putting in my mouth! I am embarassed to say that I am a certified fitness instructor, teaching 8 classes per week and I do portray the healthy fitness person in my knowledge and my classes. But, I have a problem with getting the proper amounts of protein, good carbs, and good fats. I tend to pack foods that are easy to transport because of my crazy schedule. To overcome this, I need to plan and organize my food for the week, and pack the night before so there is no guessing what to take. I am lazy in that department, so I know I need to work on that! .......I will try harder....sigh... :( Oh, and I love my dark chocolate...(just a small piece) daily!

My One Thing....
by: Chris

I work out 6 days a week, and teach boot camp. You would think my one thing would be OCD...but, because I am a chef, and always eating on the go...it's eating too fast and not knowing when my body is full. I need to slow down!

food and fatloss

Thanks for being so honest everybody. Glad to see that we're (me and my clients) not the only ones with food challenges.

Tired of food issues? Check out my Perfect Diet Myth article. The videos on that page are awesome!

my one thing

My one thing is not working out consistently. To over come this problem I have to make a schedule and stick to it. Set my clock and hour earlier and also altternate different workouts in my schedule.

Not eating right in the night
by: MDS

I follow extreme portion control and type of food/ calories through out the day but in the night I eat as much as I wish and then I have to have a dessert ( 100calories only). SO far I was blaming my sweet tooth but now as i look back i realize that it is the portions of food that I eat is what bumps up the calories than the lil dessert at the end. I will try to control my dinner binge and maybe that will help me break the plateau that I have reached

My One (two) things
by: Kim

Too many cheat meals (eating out) when I'm tired and I definitely need to drink more water.
