The beautiful park in the videos was in Del Mar. I wish we had grass like that here!
Todays TRX Outdoors Park Workout was fun, challenging, and energizing. It also caused a little boy to crash his bike. He was so fascinated by my suspension trainer and forgot to look straight ahead and completely wiped out. Even after he fell he still could not stop staring (pretty funny).
Here's what I did after one quick walk around the track to check out the best anchoring options for my workout.
TRX Outdoors Park Workout Instructions
Warm-Up 2-3 rounds of stair sprints and one set of 10-15 reps of all the exercises below or try any mobility circuit.
TRX W drill TRX Row to deep squat TRX Scapular pushup to overhead alternating lunge TRX Upper body pendulum
Back Lower Body Circuit - Perform 8-10 reps of each exercise going from one to the next without rest. After one round rest for 30 seconds then repeat two more times.
TRX bent over alternating Russian twists TRX power pull TRX power pull (other side) TRX suspended balance lunge TRX suspended balance lunge (other side) TRX row One round of stairs or 50-80 alternating bench step-ups
MetCon Fatloss Circuit - Perform 15-20 reps of each exercise going from one to the next without rest. After one round rest for 30 seconds then repeat two more times.
TRX suspended lunge w/hop (same reps other side) TRX high speed power pulls (same reps other side) TRX mountain climber Stair sprints, soccer field sprints or 20 step-ups
Cool Down Circuit - Perform 5-8 reps of the exercises below or try 4-5 minutes of flow yoga or total body floor stretches.

BTW you could totally do this entire workout without a suspension trainer. Just get creative with a rope or towel and some dumbbells.
