Smoothies That Boost Fatloss

Flatten Your Belly Fast w/ Nutrient Dense Smoothies

Smoothies are one of the best ways to implement a bit of calorie restriction for fatloss and the best part is you don't have to spend a ton of money on expensive supplements chock full of chemicals because there's something that works even better for fatloss.

The best types of smoothies for fatloss are the homemade nutrient dense kind (nutrient dense = high nutrient to calorie ratio). The kind that Mike Geary author of Truth About Abs recommends for a flat belly and the kind that Craig Ballantyne shows you how to make in his crazy Smoothie Recipe video.

Try one of my favorite smoothie recipes below or check out Mike Geary's yummy Post Workout Smoothie recipes and tips.

Papaya Protein Smoothie

1/2 cup vanilla yogurt (organic full fat)
1 cup papaya
splash of almond milk or fresh orange juice
2 cups spinach
1 cup blackberries and raspberries
1/2 tsbp chia seeds or 1 tbsp flaxseed oil
1 scoop organic whey (totally optional, I rarely use this anymore)
5 ice cubes

Try to use all organic ingredients, layer it as listed and blend until smooth. This shake will be a beautiful purple.

BTW, I don't know why I waited so long to try greens in my smoothies like Craig suggested. I started a few months ago and love it.

Check out Jack's fast, cheap, delicious green smoothie below. Delicious and totally affordable!!!

Monica's Green Smoothie Recipe

2 big handfuls dark leafy greens (spinach, kale, arugula, whatever you have or like)
1-2 cups fresh orange juice
2 cups papaya (canteloupe, mango, peaches, really good too)
1 banana
1-2 cup purified water w/ 1 tbsp chia seeds
1 cup ice cubes

Use any amount of liquid that makes the shake a consistency that you like or add 2 heaping tbsp. organic vanilla yogurt if you prefer an even thicker creamier shake. Use 1 tbsp. flaxseed oil if you prefer. Makes 2 servings.

As you can see from my pic you don't need a fancy $400 Vitamix Turbo Blender to make green smoothies although having one is probably more convenient and means not having to cut up fruit or juice your oranges. Use what is convenient for you and don't be afraid to experiment. Have fun playing with your food. I bet your mom never told you that : )
